    About the game

Aliens attack Earth again, and you play a soldier in the Earth Defense Force. Each mission puts you in a city or on a wide open map full of giant bugs and robots. You shoot until the area is clear while whole buildings come down around you. The script is cheesy on purpose, and the story stays in the background.

You pick one of four classes. The Ranger is a flexible all-rounder, the Wing Diver flies with a jetpack, the Air Raider calls in air strikes and drops, and the Fencer is a slow heavy hitter. Every mission supports up to four players online, or two on one split screen. Enemies drop crates that unlock weapons and armor for every class, so you replay missions for better gear.

Missions are short, so a few fit into one evening. The fights are loud and silly, and many missions feel alike. It suits friends who like shooting and collecting more than variety.
