About the game
A huge alien force attacks Earth, and you join the Earth Defense Force as a soldier. Each mission drops you into a city or an open field packed with giant ants, spiders, flying saucers and humanoid frog aliens. You shoot until the area is clear, and whole buildings come down around you. The script and voice acting are cheesy on purpose.
You choose one of four classes. The Ranger is a balanced all-rounder, the Wing Diver flies with a jetpack, the Fencer carries heavy weapons and the Air Raider calls in air strikes and vehicles. Up to four players team up online, or two share one device on a split screen. Enemies drop weapons and armor, so you replay missions to build up your gear.
A second player makes it better, and the fights stay loud and silly. The shooting is easy to pick up, but missions repeat a lot, so it suits friends who enjoy collecting loot.
