    About the game

Giant insects and robots are invading Earth, and you are one of the Earth Defense Force soldiers sent to stop them. You pick one of four soldier types, drop into a huge map and shoot everything in sight. Most missions are short, and nearly all of them are about wiping out every enemy while the city crumbles around you.

Two players can share one split screen, or up to four can play online. The classes fit together. The Wing Diver flies with a jetpack, the Air Raider calls in air strikes and can buff the others, and the Fencer carries a giant gun in each hand. Weapons and armor drop at random, so you replay missions on higher difficulty levels to find better gear.

The plot is daft and the fights are noisy. It is easy to pick up and best with other people, so it suits friends who want an easy night of shooting.
