About the game
You play a Space Marine, a huge armored soldier in a war against the Tyranids, insect-like aliens that crawl over whole cities. You cut through crowds with a chainsword, then switch to a boltgun for enemies at range. Parrying and dodging at the right moment matters, and finishing a stunned enemy with an execution gives your shield back.
Up to three players team up online, in the story missions and in replayable Operations missions. In Operations, each player picks a class and a squad can hold only one of each. There is no friendly fire, so the mess comes from the swarm. Siege is a three-player mode where you hold out against waves and spend points on ammo and reinforcements.
Classes, weapons and perks level up between missions, and PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series players can join the same squad. Co-op is online only. It suits a group that likes fighting side by side and improving together.
