About the game
You play a Colonial Marine on the planet LV-895, working through twelve missions in four campaigns while Xenomorphs and Weyland-Yutani synthetics come at you in waves. A mission mixes moving between objectives with holding a spot until a big wave arrives. You pick a class and level it up, along with your weapons, as you replay missions.
Online co-op is for three players, and bots fill any empty slot. Friends on PC, PlayStation and Xbox can play together. The classes split the work. The Doc heals the team, the Technician sets up turrets, and the Demolisher mows down crowds.
It plays like an action shooter more than a horror game. Missions run about half an hour, and the harder settings ask for a squad that works well together.
