About the game
An alien invasion has frozen most of humanity in place, and you are one of four people who were spared. You pick missions from a map and drop into wide open areas. There you hack alien machines, collect supplies or rescue survivors while robots and creatures hunt you. The start point, the enemies and the weather change from run to run.
Your squad votes on where to go next, and you can play alone with bots. When a teammate dies, they come back at your base with a broken bone that a medic fixes. The run only ends if everyone dies in one mission. You can pick up and carry a downed friend. Between missions you choose gear, and the bosses at the end of each stage ask different things of the team.
4:LOOP is not out yet and has no release date. It is online only, and the maker says PS5 and PC players can squad up.
