About the game
You play a Descendant, a hero with special powers, and shoot your way through missions, dungeons and open fields. The big fights are against huge boss monsters called Colossi. Most of your time goes on shooting, grappling around and replaying content to earn guns, modules and new characters that make your build stronger.
Squads of up to four play online, or you can go in alone. A squad can mix damage dealers with supporters who heal or put up barriers. A world boss called the Wall Crasher appears at set times and lets up to eight players fight it together. Players on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series can play together, and the game is free with an optional shop.
Teamwork counts most in the hard boss fights. Expect a long grind for gear.
