About the game
You play a Division agent in Washington, D.C. after a pandemic. Armed factions control streets and landmarks, and you fight through missions to help settlements and retake territory. Cover, enemy weak points and equipment skills matter during shootouts. Loot gives you weapons and armour to compare, craft and improve as you develop your agent.
The campaign and ordinary missions support four players online. You can combine healing and damage skills, cover different approaches and revive teammates. Endgame raids raise the cooperative maximum to eight and add encounters that need assigned roles and shared plans. These are separate from the competitive modes and mixed PvP areas. You can keep returning to missions and world activities for better equipment after the campaign ends.

Backs Exploring, Calm and coziness, Time to hang out, Getting better, Fear.
- Exploring: PCGamesN, updated April 24, 2019 describes discoveries and optional activities around Washington.
- Calm and coziness: Slower exploration and non-combat encounters provide breaks from danger.
- Time to hang out: Roaming and equipment stops provide room for chat between missions. This is an editorial inference, not a claim that fights need little attention.
- Getting better: Aiming at weak spots and responding to faction tactics reward learned shooting skills.
- Fear: The review describes an unsettling facility filled with body bags. This supports minor dread, without treating the whole shooter as horror or rating an unreleased DLC.
