About the game
You build a team of three to five heroes, pick a villain and choose a place to fight. Then you take turns playing cards until the villain falls or your heroes do. On a turn you play one card, use one power and draw. The villain and the place run on their own, and the app tracks every number and effect for you.
Everyone is on the same side. Many hero powers help the whole team at a cost to the player using them, so you talk over who should do what and in which order. Online games take up to five players, with Steam, iPhone, iPad and Android players in the same game. You can also pass one device around, or play every hero yourself.
It rewards planning more than speed. Many games come down to the last turns, and some villain and hero picks are much harder than others. It suits friends who like planning together.

- Online co-op: Says you can head online and join heroes from around the globe, and that players join forces against a villain.
- Local co-op: The feature list says you can play solo with 3 to 5 heroes or pass and play with your friends. The game is cooperative, so pass and play is same-side play on one device. No player count and no screen type is given, so those fields are left out.
- Crossplay: Says every version supports full cross-platform online multiplayer between Steam, iOS and Android.
- Crossplay between: Names Steam, iOS and Android. The same page lists the Steam version for PC, Mac and Linux, so all three count as Steam players.
- Platforms: Requirements are listed for Steam on PC, Mac and Linux, for Android and for iOS.
- Kind of game: Calls the game a completely faithful digital adaptation of the cooperative card game.
- Sessions: Says there are over 9,000 possible battles, built from the heroes, villain and place you pick.
- About: The heroes are comic book heroes in a card battle. Our theme list has no superhero theme, so cartoon heroes is the closest. The heroes are the maker's own and not famous characters.
- Fighting: Describes a team of heroes fighting a villain in every game.
