About the game
You lead a band of mercenaries through a large medieval world, a century after a plague brought down an empire. You take contracts and bounties, explore ruins, recruit fighters and make camp at night. Food and wages must be paid, and a fighter who is knocked down and hit again can be lost for good.
Up to four players run one band online. Each of you looks after your own characters, while money and loot are shared and everyone keeps a personal bag. Towns and camps need the whole group in one place, so you agree together where to go and what to do. In battle the group shares one pool of turns, so you also agree who acts next.
It is a slow, careful game. Planning fights and talking through choices is a big part of the fun, and waiting for a friend to finish in a shop comes with it.
