About the game
Giant monsters called Aragami are wiping out what is left of the world. You play a God Eater, a fighter whose weapon doubles as a gun and a shield. Each mission sends you against Aragami in fast fights where you dart around them and hack away. What you harvest from fallen monsters goes into crafting and upgrading better gear.
Up to four of you can play the campaign together online, and computer partners can fill empty places. Assault Missions raise the group to eight players against a tougher kind of Aragami. Everyone brings their own weapon and build.
It suits friends who like to repeat missions and improve their gear together. Everyone has to have unlocked a mission before the group can pick it, so a friend who is behind in the story slows the whole team down.
