About the game
You pick a class and fight through a long story across many lands and islands. Most of the time you cut through packs of enemies and giant bosses from an isometric view. After the story, daily and weekly dungeons and raids take over, and you repeat them to improve your gear.
You can play most of the story alone or with friends. Abyssal Dungeons are made for four players, a Shadow Raid needs eight and the Behemoth raid takes sixteen. A Shadow Raid can also fill empty spots through matchmaking when your group is smaller. Voice and text chat are built in, and friends must pick the same world to play together.
Raids ask the whole group to learn each boss and work together. Gear levels decide which raids you can enter, so friends who progress at different speeds can end up in different content. It suits a group that likes to improve characters week after week.
