    About the game

You play a Viking warrior who has to protect a village from giants and the creatures that attack at night. In Saga mode, a clock runs down toward an endless winter. By day you gather materials, craft gear and strengthen the village. At night you fight off raids. Survival mode drops the nightly raids and gives you a calmer sandbox to explore and build in.

Up to ten players can team up online, or you can go alone. There is no fighting between players, so everyone works toward the same goals. Friends split the jobs, with some gathering, some crafting and some holding the line. There are eight classes and many skills, and what you unlock carries over from run to run.

The pace swings between busy and slow, so it suits a group that likes to gather, build and fight in a loop. Calling out jobs over voice chat helps a lot in Saga.
