About the game
You are a knight stranded on an alien planet after your starship crashed. From the hub town of Haven you head down into the Clockworks, a giant underground complex of levels. You swing swords, fire guns and throw bombs at hostile creatures, then ride a lift down to the next floor. Between runs you craft and upgrade gear with what you found.
Up to three other players can join you, either friends or strangers from a public party list. Monsters get a bit tougher with every extra knight, but the team's damage adds up. Fallen friends can be revived, each player gets their own copy of the loot, and the party moves on once one knight reaches the lift.
It is free to play on PC, Mac and Linux. The long goal is stronger gear, so you repeat runs with friends to build up your knight. Haven is a safe place to chat between them.

- Free base co-op: Says the game is free to play and that no subscription is needed to enjoy everything it offers.
- Confirmed free setups: The free statement covers the whole game, including the co-operative Clockworks runs.
- Kind of game: Says the Clockworks are best tackled with friends, and the knights must work together to survive.
- Sessions: Knights build gates in the Arcade that open paths into the Clockworks, so a sitting is a set of dungeon runs from the Haven hub.
- About: Describes knights stranded on a hostile alien planet after their starship crashed.
- Story: Frames the game around a crash landing and a trip to the planet's core, but the page is mostly about play.
- Puzzles and figuring out: Lists solving puzzles next to fighting monsters and finding treasure.
- Exploring: Presents the Clockworks as a huge underground complex to explore.
- Building and creating: Mentions alchemizing gear from materials. That is crafting for your own knight and does not build the world.

Backs Online co-op, Most players online, Friends can join mid-game, Confirmed free setups, Kind of game, Working in sync, Laughter and chaos, Tension and danger, Planning ahead.
- Online co-op: Describes public parties, a Party Finder and friends who join each other's parties. The wiki is community edited.
- Most players online: Says a party is a group of 1 to 4 knights. There is one client for all three desktop systems, so the cap does not differ by platform.
- Friends can join mid-game: Parties can be joined through a gate, the Party Finder, the friends list or an invite, and a knight may leave at any time. Joining is blocked in treasure vaults, boss levels and a few other levels. Only this wiki states it.
- Confirmed free setups: A party holds 1 to 4 knights, so the co-op groups are 2, 3 and 4.
- Kind of game: Says the game is designed to be cooperative and the party rules favor working together over competing.
- Working in sync: Describes reviving fallen members and a party that moves on when one knight reaches the lift.
- Laughter and chaos: Says party play can cause chaos, with monsters switching targets and careless knights setting off traps for each other.
- Tension and danger: Says monsters get tougher with each extra knight, and the whole party goes down if the last knight falls at the lift.
- Planning ahead: Says a party can bring a wider mix of weapons and damage types than a lone knight.
