About the game
You play one of three pairs, such as Leon and Helena or Chris and Piers, through loud action set pieces. Zombies, mutants and huge bosses come at you while you shoot, slide, dodge and punch. The set pieces include driving scenes and a jet scene. A fourth story belongs to Ada and is for one player only.
Each pair is made for two players, on one split screen or online. Alone, the computer plays your partner. You cross gaps together, shake monsters off each other and split the jobs, like one of you flying while the other shoots. At a few story points a second pair can join online, so four of you take on the same fight.
It plays more like an action film than a horror game, and the story is a tangle you can laugh at together. A campaign has five chapters of about an hour each, so it takes several evenings.
