About the game
You leave a settlement of survivors to search worlds threatened by the Root. Guns, melee weapons and a dodge roll carry you through enemies and bosses, while side paths hide puzzles and equipment. The worlds and encounters change between campaigns, so another player can have a different route through the same game.
Up to three players travel together online. You each develop a character, choose weapons and combine archetypes with different skills. A team can put those abilities together in a fight, then search for secrets before moving on. New equipment and class levels give you reasons to return and try another build. Friends on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series can play together through crossplay, although linking an Epic account and matching console settings are required.
