About the game
You pick a Warrior, Mage or Ranger and travel through portals to islands that are made at random. On each one you gather materials, fight monsters and take on bosses. What you collect turns into better weapons and armor, and into a home island with a castle that you fill with furniture.
Up to four of you can play online, and two can share one split screen. You can work on the same island or each go to a different one. Everyone brings their own character, so levels carry over between worlds.
It is light and easy to learn, so it suits groups who want to build and explore without much pressure. Fights are simple, and the hunt for portal shards late in the game can feel slow.
