About the game
You pick one of the mutants and shoot your way through a wasteland of bandits, monsters and bosses to reach the throne. Every run is built fresh. Between levels you pick a mutation that changes what your character can do, and you swap weapons as you find them, because ammo is short. You will die a lot and start again from the first level.
Local co-op puts everyone on the same screen. You do not share guns or ammo, and if one of you goes down, the other has a few seconds to run over and revive them. That costs half of the helper's health. Up to four can play on Steam since the December 2025 update, and the console stores list two.
With more than one player the screen fills fast, and it is hard to tell who is who. It suits friends who like fast, hard shooters and do not mind losing.
