About the game
You play scenes from the four Jurassic films as LEGO figures. Story levels take you through key moments, and between them you roam two open islands, Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. There you smash scenery and hunt for hidden bricks and characters. In some places you play as a dinosaur, and in others one chases you.
A second player can join at any time by pressing a button on another controller. You share one screen while you stay close, and when you walk apart the screen splits at an angle, which some reviewers find fiddly. Characters have different skills, so you open the way for each other, or one player switches characters to do it alone.
The game is easy and forgiving, with plenty to collect after the story ends. It suits a parent playing with a child, or a pair who like to hunt for secrets together. Co-op is local only, and there is no online mode.
