About the game
You join Nightfall to fight the monsters created by Horzine. Each mission sends you into a map where waves of zeds close in from several directions. You shoot, dodge and use traps to keep them back, then spend your earnings on ammunition, healing and stronger weapons between waves. Weapon modifications and perk skills give you different ways to prepare for the next fight.
Up to six players cooperate online, with crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Your group can mix damage and support roles, cover a friend who is surrounded and use abilities when a wave becomes difficult. The focus stays on repeated fights and improving your equipment. There is room to chat on gentler settings, while harder matches ask for closer attention to enemies and supplies.
