About the game
You drive across a large open map of Japan, from Tokyo streets to open countryside, beaches and mountains. You pick from hundreds of cars, enter races and events, and hunt for hidden spots off the road. Moving up the festival ranks unlocks more of the map.
You can play the campaign alone or with friends. Friends join through a Convoy of up to 12 players, and players on PC and Xbox consoles can share one. Races, showcases, Rush events and story chapters can be done as a group, and you are rewarded for pulling off skills at the same moment. In Horizon CoLab, the group builds custom events together.
Much of the time it feels like a relaxed drive with friends, with some friendly racing on the side. You need a Microsoft account to play.
