About the game
You lead a civilization through a thousand years of history. You start with a few villagers, gather resources, build a town and train an army. The game is roughly half base-building and half war, so you keep switching between the economy and the battle.
Co-op comes in two forms. The co-op campaigns and Historical Battles are made for you and a friend, with set objectives and computer enemies tuned to face two players. Quick Play also matches you with other players to team up against the computer, and Xbox lists online co-op for up to seven. You share the objectives and have to coordinate.
It asks for steady attention, so most of your talking is about the next move. It suits friends who like planning an economy and an army together.
