About the game
You and a friend play two detectives, Ally and Old Dog, who are chasing a killer. Each level is a locked box full of small puzzles. Solving them builds a code digit by digit, and the code opens the next box. The scenes are hand drawn in a comic style, and you can scribble notes on the screen.
Each of you plays on your own phone, tablet or computer, and the two can be different. One of you creates a game and sends the other a short code to join. Your screens show different things, so you spend the evening describing symbols, numbers and objects to each other. The game has no voice chat, so you keep a call open in another app.
A full run takes about two hours, and you need an internet connection the whole time. It suits a couple or two friends who like talking things through. Some players find the puzzles repetitive by the end.
