    About the game

You play a scientist in a mech suit who is sent to a distant alien planet. You build a base, mine resources, research new tools and put up walls and turrets. Hostile creatures attack your base in waves, and the attacks get stronger as the days pass. Between attacks you head out to explore new areas, fight in the field and find the materials your base needs next.

Up to four of you play together online, or over a local network with no internet. The story campaign and Survival Mode both work in co-op. You can use the in-game chat, teleport to a friend, share items and bring a fallen teammate's mech back online. Co-op is on PC only. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series editions are single player.

Quiet stretches of building and planning are broken up by attack waves. It suits friends who enjoy laying out a base as much as defending it.
