About the game
You drive as Sonic and his friends through tracks filled with bends, hazards and item boxes. Drifting builds speed boosts, while the items let you slow rival drivers or defend your car. Team Adventure links races and driving challenges through a story about a mysterious race organiser. You earn credits for vehicle parts and paint schemes.
Your team wins through its combined finishing positions. You pass items to a struggling friend, follow a teammate for a boost and help someone recover after a crash. Up to three players share the campaign on one split screen. Online custom races also let friends form a team. It suits a group that enjoys learning corners and helping a slower driver keep up.
