About the game
This is a baseball game with an arcade feel. You pitch, bat and field in full games, and a difficulty slider lets you set how hard the computer plays. Team names and player traits are often silly. In Franchise mode you keep one team for many seasons, sign and release players, stay under a pay cap and choose how much to spend on helping them improve.
Two players can run one team together against the computer, on one device or online. This works in Franchise, Seasons and Elimination modes. The game also has one-on-one and two-on-two matches against other people, but those are not co-op, and the ranked online mode is one-on-one only.
It suits a pair who like baseball and want to build a team over time. Pitching takes practice, so lower the difficulty if one of you is new to it. Close games get tense, because a tired pitcher gets harder to control.

- Online co-op: Developer FAQ, posted 2020-09-30 and edited 2021-03-24, says Franchise is played with one human-controlled team against the computer, solo or with local or online co-op.
- Local co-op: Same FAQ answer, which names local co-op next to online co-op.
- Crossplay: The FAQ names Pennant Race and Online Leagues as the cross-platform modes and says other modes use party-based online play that is not cross-platform. Both cross-platform modes are one-on-one, so co-op is not cross-platform. The cross-platform badges on stores belong to those modes. The maker's wording does not name Franchise co-op word for word.
- Platforms: The FAQ says Mac and Linux are not supported.
