About the game
A plane crash leaves you alone in the Pacific. You gather food and water, craft tools and spears, and build a shelter that can grow from palm fronds to brick. A raft takes you from island to island, and you can dive for wrecks. Sharks, snakes, hunger, thirst and sunstroke keep you moving.
Up to two people can play online, and on PC two can share a split screen. Console versions are online only, and the Switch version is single player. A friend joins you on your island and you share the work of hunting, crafting and building. There is no crossplay between PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Most of the time is quiet work gathering and crafting, until a shark bumps the raft or a storm rolls in. Hunger and thirst keep the pressure on. It suits two people who like slow survival and building a base together, and there is a goal to finish by escaping the islands.
