About the game
You are a trooper in the Deep Space Vanguard, dropped onto alien planets overrun by bugs from the Starship Troopers films. A mission strings together a few objectives, like guarding an ore site, and ends with a stand at a base until the dropship arrives. Hundreds of bugs charge at once and you shoot them down.
Up to 16 players share one team. Six classes split the jobs. The engineer strengthens the base, the medic looks after the squad and the sniper picks off bugs from range. Every player can place walls, bunkers and turrets from the team's shared resources, so a base is only as good as the plan behind it. Players can also join a mission that is already running.
It works best with friends on voice, joking while the bugs pile up. Each class unlocks new weapons and perks, so you keep coming back. Large public teams can get messy when nobody agrees where to build.
