About the game
You play Mio and Zoe, two writers who get stuck inside simulations of their own stories. Mio writes science fiction and Zoe writes fantasy, so the levels jump between their two worlds. Most of the time you run, jump, wall-run and swing on grapples, with puzzles, shooting and boss fights mixed in. Almost every level hands you new powers, so the rules keep changing.
It is built for exactly two players, on one split screen or online. At any moment you each have a different power, and most obstacles need both, so you talk almost nonstop. In one level, one of you makes platforms while the other turns them. Thanks to the Friend's Pass, only one of you needs the game, and crossplay works across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.
Dying costs little. It suits couples and friends who want a story to finish together and have some timing skill.
