About the game
Soulframe is a fantasy action RPG from Digital Extremes, the studio behind Warframe. You play an Envoy on the island of Midrath, in a land taken over by conquerors. You explore a large open map, fight with blades, bows and magic, and take on quests, bosses and fortress sieges. As you earn weapons, armor and pacts, you can mix them and swap between loadouts.
You can play alone or form an online party of up to four. A hands-on report from a group of friends says nearly all content works in a party. Pacts act a bit like classes, and one of them can heal the group. In the current test build, everyone follows the host's quests.
It is still a pre-alpha test on PC with no release date. The makers plan it to be free to play, and all of this may change before launch.
