About the game
It is 1914 and the island of Sker is overrun by monsters called the Quiet Ones. You pick a map and survive round after round of them with guns you buy and upgrade as you go. Each round hits harder than the last. Between waves you open doors, spend points and chase side objectives and hidden secrets.
Up to four of you play online, and players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S can team up in the same game. You can play alone, but enemies come from every side and a downed friend needs reviving fast, so a group makes it much easier. The hordes grow with the size of your team.
It plays fast and loud, closer to a zombie mode than a scary game. There is little time to chat between waves, so it suits friends who want a steady fight more than a quiet evening.
