About the game
You play Sam Stone during an alien invasion of Earth. Streets, ruins and open fields become battlefields as enemies charge from several directions. You keep moving, switch weapons for different targets and carve a route through the crowd. Side missions and hidden supplies give you reasons to leave the main route between fights.
Up to four players can play the campaign together online. You shoot the same invading army, but each person handles their own movement and weapons. Deaths lead to respawns rather than a rescue job for a teammate. The appeal is sharing crowded firefights and absurd weapons, with less need to divide fixed roles. It suits a group that wants a direct shooting campaign and can keep aiming while the screen fills with enemies.
