About the game
You play a pirate on a shared sea dotted with islands. You pick up a voyage from a trading company, sail to the island on the map, and dig up treasure, solve a riddle or fight skeleton crews there. Then you carry the loot back to an outpost and sell it before anyone takes it from you. Sea monsters turn up now and then.
A crew of up to four shares one ship. On a galleon, one of you steers, others handle the sails and cannons, and someone watches from the crow's nest. A smaller sloop suits one or two players. Other player crews sail the same sea, so a calm trip can turn into a wave, a trade or a cannon fight.
The voyages repeat, so the fun comes from your crew and what goes wrong along the way. It suits a group that likes to talk, make plans and laugh when a plan sinks.
