About the game
Romestead is set in the ruins of Rome, where the undead come out after dark. You start with a small camp and grow it into a working settlement. Rocks, logs and ore are heavy, so you carry them home by hand or haul them in a train of carts. Survivors you find can be recruited as artisans, and you keep them fed and happy.
Up to eight players can share a world, on a server you host or through a direct connection. The game is tuned for one to four players and gets harder as more people join. Roles split easily. One of you can stay home to build and farm while the others fight the undead, clear dungeons and take on bosses.
Between fights it is a slow, steady building game, and the village work is the relaxing part. It suits a small group that wants one long project to share.
