    About the game

You choose a hero drawn from folklore and fight through a corrupted dream world. Each hero has different attacks, defensive moves and talents. During a run you explore open maps, tackle side activities and choose upgrades before facing the chapter boss. A timer pushes you to decide which fights and rewards are worth the detour. New runs let you try another hero or assemble a different build.

Up to four players work together online. You can combine abilities, agree on a route and revive teammates, with a shared supply of extra lives. There is no local co-op. Rank unlocks add talent choices and character stories between attempts, rather than permanent increases to your starting strength. It suits a group that enjoys learning enemy attacks and discussing builds.
