About the game
After a nuclear strike, you shelter in a bunker. Each day you go out into a ruined, radioactive zone to search for loot, and you need to be back before nightfall. The places you visit are generated fresh, so each trip is different. Mutants, bandits and strange anomalies wait for you, and you also have to watch hunger, thirst, radiation and stress.
Back home you stash what you found, craft gear, cook, grow food and add rooms to the bunker. Up to ten players share one world, and the host runs it from their own PC. Voice chat only reaches players who are close, so a friend who wanders off goes quiet. You can also play alone.
The mood is bleak and tense, with a few scares and some silly moments mixed in. It suits a group that wants a lasting base to come back to and can live with a few rough edges.
