About the game
You play one of several odd characters who jump down a well into the Unwell, a world of floating islands drawn like a cartoon from the 1930s. Each run is a string of arenas full of strange enemies, ending in a boss. You fight with weapons like a giant lollipop, dodge at the right moment and kick enemies off the edge. When you die, you go back to a hub town and spend what you earned on upgrades before the next try.
Up to three can play together online, so you bring along up to two friends. The characters have different strengths and weaknesses, and each fight can end with a shove over a ledge, which is part of the slapstick.
The game is not out yet. The maker aims for a full release in 2027, so these details describe the announced game and may still change.
