    About the game

You play Duke Alcedor, a knight who comes home to a land twisted by dark magic. You work through castles and hidden corners of an open map, fight monsters and finish dungeons with boss fights. Kills earn experience and gold. You spend them on health, mana or damage, on gear and on new skills.

A second player takes the squire, Cervul. He fights from a distance with axes and a crossbow and carries tools that help you both, while the knight stays close with a mace and shield. You share one screen, split the jobs and decide who heals. The free Deux or Die update added this mode to the whole campaign. One player can also switch between both heroes alone.

Expect a gory, darkly funny campaign of roughly six to ten hours with several endings. It is hard but fair, so it suits two people who want to learn the fights together.
