About the game
You play Kyle Crane, who has escaped a lab and wants revenge. The game is an open world of woods, towns and farmland. By day you run and climb across rooftops, drive an off-road vehicle, scavenge supplies and follow story and side quests. Most fights are up close, with melee weapons.
Up to four of you can play the campaign online, and everyone plays as Crane. When the sun sets, dangerous creatures called Volatiles hunt the group, so you run, hide or fight together. A friend can drop in and out of your game. Steam and Epic players can join each other, but PlayStation, Xbox and PC players cannot.
It is scary at night and funny when everyone shouts as the same hero. It suits a group that wants a long action story, with some quiet daytime between the scares.
