    About the game

DDNet is a free 2D platformer that you play on a server with other people. You run, jump and swing on a grappling hook through hard maps, and you carry a few weapons that help you get teammates out of trouble. The community has made thousands of maps, from easy ones for beginners to very hard ones.

A server holds up to 128 players, and the official servers run in many countries. You can hook onto another player and pull them along, so a stronger player can drag a stuck friend through a hard part. Some parts of a map cannot be crossed unless someone helps you.

It takes a lot of practice to get good. New players can start on practice servers and easy maps. Finished maps give you points, and your ranks count on every official server.
