About the game
You play a lamb who gets a second life and uses it to start a cult of woodland followers. In the dungeons you fight through random rooms, beat bosses and bring back what you find. Back at camp you give sermons, look after your followers and put up buildings.
Co-op is local only and covers the whole campaign. One of you plays the Lamb and the other plays the Goat, and you join from the pause menu once a second controller is plugged in. Tarot cards and relics reward teamwork, like a damaging beam between you or extra damage when you strike together. Fishing and Knucklebones have two-player versions, and you can play Knucklebones against each other. There is no online mode.
It suits a couple or two friends who want something cute and a little creepy and are happy to share a room. The camp chores leave time to talk, and the dungeons ask for more focus.
