About the game
You take over an overgrown farm on a tropical island. Most days you clear land, plant crops, look after animals, fish, mine and chat with the townspeople. You can also dive in a wetsuit to pick up rubbish from the sea floor and bring the coral reef back. Seasons turn and festivals come around, while a story about saving the island builds in the background.
Since the 1.2 update, up to four players can share one farm online. You grow crops together, split the daily chores and share resources. There is no split screen or shared screen, so everyone needs their own device. Players on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation can join each other.
Nothing punishes you for taking it slowly, so it suits friends who would rather chat while they work than race. You can split up, with one of you fishing while another goes mining.
