    About the game

You play a revenant in a ruined, dark world full of monsters called the Lost. You fight through connected areas and dungeons, take on large bosses and slowly build up your character. Classes called Blood Codes can be swapped at any time. Fights reward careful dodging, as in other souls-like games.

An AI partner follows you for most of the game. One real player can also join your world online by answering a rescue signal from the menu, and a password keeps strangers out. The guest helps in fights, but cannot open doors or chests or start boss fights, and you cannot call them into areas you have already cleared.

This is mostly a solo game with a helper, not a campaign built for two. It suits two friends who like hard-hitting action RPGs and do not mind that one of them is the visitor. Both of you need to be on the same platform.
