    About the game

You watch a stylized crime drama that opens with a botched holdup in small-town Arizona in 1998 and follows two families for thirty years. The choices are the gameplay. You pick what people say and do at key moments, and handle short quick-time prompts when a scene turns tense.

In co-op every player votes on each choice. The most votes wins, and a tie is settled at random. If you disagree with the group, you can spend an override to force your pick, but each chapter gives you only a few. Up to eight can play, online or on one shared screen. Controllers cover four, and phones on the same Wi-Fi bring it to eight.

It needs no game skill, so it suits mixed groups, even non-gamers. Chapters take about an hour and the story six to eight hours. Expect arguments over the choices and a few laughs at the soapy turns. It is a mature story with violence.
